I'll use it in traffic if the car in front is going slower than normal flow, because it is obnoxious during low speed downshifts, hoping they will realize they are not the only car on the road.

Also if driving aggressively through the back road twisties.

Every single time I start the car. I NEVER drive without it. I'm lazy and have no intention of learning heel to toe on a car. I'll learn on my simulator. In my other manual cars I would blip the throttle for downshifts but never while braking.

Pretty much never, at least on the street. I have not tracked yet, there may be benefit on the track, but I won't know until I get there, hopefully this year, maybe.....

I almost never use it. I mostly heel and toe downshift myself just because it makes driving more fun for me. But I do turn it on if I am going hot into a corner and want to focus on getting the braking right. The fact that turning it on and off is so easily accessible by hitting the paddles allows me to do that. On track I would just leave it on. Again it allows me to focus on getting the braking right.

I have trouble remembering NOT to blip the throttle when using it on track. 30 years of heel/toe habit is hard to break!

I just downshift without rev matching. Been driving manual cars since I started driving in 98. Never had an issue with not rev matching. Don't really understand the importance of it.

Exactly! For me 40+ years of muscle memory is hard to stop. I have not tracked, so we will see if I can give rev match a chance there. On the street, I just do this without thinking, not an easy habit to break, and I don't want to break that habit, I like doing all the work!

I pretty much only use it on the highway when I want to be lazy so I can downshift quickly if I need to overtake someone.

Wish the button was only for taking rev match off.

Always on.
