Good price for GY F1 SC 3’s?

I don’t usually buy used tires, as in never, but a guy in town is switching his GY’s w/500 miles on them for a set of Nitto’s & wants to sell them. I have an idea of life expectancy so if I can score his set for a good deal for when I need them again what would be a good price? $750? $1K?

they got for like $1200 new so i wouldnt pay $1000 but anything under is not bad

If you watch Tirerack they put the 3s on clearance about every 6 months or so and you can pick up a new set for around $750. So I wouldn't pay any more for them than that.

I'll sell you my '20 R3s (with 2300 miles). Having a set of PS4S put on the car this week.

I paid about $1500.00 for a new set of GY F1 Supercar tires including front and rear alignment thru the local Chevy dealership back in April. I was going with either Michelins or Continental tires but they couldn’t get a set of front and rears so I decided on the OEM GYs which they could get. The tires are holding up fine but won’t last as long as the Pilots or Extreme Contact Sport tires!

They are about $750 from Goodyear through USAA if you have an account.

Last month I paid $240 for the rears and $180 for the fronts 2017 date which is absolutely fine. Free shipping no tax. Tire rack

I paid $200 305/30r20 each plus tax from Tires plus here local. That was cash and carry not installed. But I traded them back in for some Nitto’s a month later.

gtfoxy, I paid $740.00(10%Ebay discount)for a complete set of brand new take off's from Tire Gator located in DFW free shipping, The tires were brand new, red/green lines in the center of the tire. They were on Ebay, I cant see getting PS4 for twice the price and I dont think they will last twice as long ? And Nitto will they stick better or as good as GY's ?

I've bought six tires from this guy, four fronts and two rears. Same experience as gtfoxy, tires were like brand new, zero wear, '17 & '18 date codes
