Cat advice

So I have a question snice most guys here are saying Green cats or nothing. I ordered ARH 2" headers and there high-flow cats and xpipe to NPP about 5 weeks ago still waiting to get them. I found someone selling kooks Green cats for a great price how do I find out if I can cut the ARH cats and install the green cats.

Last picture is what I ordered

Pretty straightforward: if the ARH version is 3" and Kooks is 3"... your local fabricator can cut out the ARH cats and weld the GESI cats in place. Even if the cat pipes were slightly different diameter any decent fab shop could make it work with a tubing expander.

Personally, I would stick with the ARH cats. ARH is good enough for C8.R, GT4.R and COPO.

ARH is the real deal + endorsed by Chevrolet performance. IMHO, the finest exhaust system available. Opinions will vary.

FWIW, when my warranty is expired, a complete ARH with cats (+intake mods) are my plan. You gotta breathe in before you exhale. Maybe a Griptec up top, ATI balancer down low (both OEM dia. +/-) and upgraded belt. SPL rods and arms will complete my vision..... I promised my wife, that's all that I want. Unless the C8 Z06 is awesome... but that's a conversation for another day.

Save the money for a tune (headers/intake), alignments, oil, tires, brake fluid and pads. Stick with ARH cats.
