NPP alternative?

EDIT: I was not clear with my original question, so I'm updating this post to be more on point. Original post remains below...

In my search for a car, there are a number of them that are "close" to what I want but are not factory-equipped with NPP. What alternatives to an NPP exhaust are out there that will give me a nice sound without being overbearing? If I were able to get NPP, I would make use of the stealth mode because I don't want it to be overly loud in many situations. So, my search here is for something that would give me a nice tone that would be less harsh at least while not hard on the throttle (coming home, for example, I wouldn't want to be rumbling down my street) since it may be an exhaust with a "constant setting".

---------------------

What aftermarket options are there to richen the exhaust tone without being overbearing? I’m looking for a seemingly unheard of combo of options and am wondering what some good options are if I can find NPP on the car I buy.

I like the idea of the Stealth Mode and will likely use it “enough” that a stock exhaust would be perfectly fine. But for those times when I’d like to hear it a bit more... well...

Ideas ?

Cut outs post cat. Quick time performance makes a wire less kit for the camaro. They also make an exhaust system with them built into it.

Other than the wiring it’s the same install as any other axel back exhaust system on a non npp car.

Man, all these people wanting to change shit. Still in my first week and get goose bumps when I cold start, even in track mode. I Giggle when I switch to track mode right before going into a longer tunnel.

The 2SS is a rolling work of art and love. Wanting to change her before you buy her is like scheduling been surgery for a supermodel you haven't started dating yet.

(Yes, I know my IROC is not a 5th nor a 6th gen. I'm here as I am thinking about a newer convertible and I know from experience most of the Camaro forum members are helpful and understanding.... right?!?)

In other words, your car HAS the NPP option. So, you understand the possible interest in wanting to “change shit” since one I’m eyeing doesn’t have it.

Any good quality aftermarket exhaust system will be good to put on the car. NPP is a nice optional exhaust but if you are planning on changing it then the aftermarket is the way to go if you buy an SS with the regular exhaust!

I am only looking at change-out options in the even that the car doesn’t have NPP. If NPP equipped, no changes.

I got a 2016 SS without NPP. And was in the same exact boat as you describe. QTP was high on my list but pricey. I also considered the Borlas but, again, pricey. I decided to gamble on low cost and went with MBRP axle backs. They're perfect.

Now, keep in mind, non-npp is two pipes out the back and many of the aftermarket options are four. That was fine with me because the stock valance/diffuser is ugly as sin. So, when I went to put on the MBRPs, I also swapped out the diffuser. Still a lot less expensive than the QTPs and Borlas.
