That's true...the 67 base car came with the I6....but the car that defined the brand, and made Camaro the legend it is to this day....was the 602 Z28's produced with the 302/4speed. I think when you go to any car show, race, auction, etc.....the dominant cars are the V8 models. Mustang and Camaro. Every once in a while you find a guy who built a 6....and its pretty cool, but not the norm. And not what defines the class. The only place I ever see more V6 (or older 4cyl) cars, is in the boneyard

Not sure why the 1LE would not be available on the yet to be built Turbo-4s....
The 1LT and the 2LT I-4s are the base models and the V-6 is an option. Other than engines, the cars are identical...So a 1LE package is an option on an option?.... Not sure why the Camaro I-4 was left out of the 1LE loop.... |
