I purchased an "In transit" phantom last month and it magically arrived as expected.

I think they could be, but also, could not. I was told to my face back in 2016 that the 6th Gen Camaro was going to be more of a “niche” product. Rather than the super affordable sports car. Additionally, now, with the new EPA regulations, GM can’t just build 100k V8 Camaros without offsetting them by building more efficient products first. Which overall they are struggling with supplies.

I am no expert, just a guy on the internet.

The regulations need to stop.

That is exactly it. Time will tell if it shifts back, competition and interest rates may change their thinking.

Wait, you can’t be at 3000 right now for a 2023. You would have to at least be at 3800, or they didn’t build it

What are you talking about? It says in their signature that they picked up their car on May 25th.

I don’t see May 25 anywhere. However, I am using a phone and everything is tiny. If it does, my bad. But at the bottom it stated he was at 3000 for order placed in Nov.

The in transit car I gave up on last April before bailing and buying an in stock car out of CO was STILL "in transit" in June when JCT went dark. Even the dealership stopped listing it. Many others on this forum can attest to waiting months... and months...and more months for "in transit" vehicles.

If things are better now that's great but last year the "in transit" term was just a bad joke to many of us.

That crap happens to me I’ll drive to the plant and get it. I’m less than an hour away. Lol

Pretty clear that I picked it up in May on my signature, maybe your phone is cutting off part of that signature?

Unfortunately GM won't let you do that even if you lived across the street from the plant. They have a delivery system and every car must go through the system, even during times when the system is broken.

judging by the supplier constraints i've observed on the MY23 and MY24s, they are def. producing as many as they can and are not artificially limiting anything.. Now one could argue, that for MY24, they should have kept the 2.0 turbo engine and produced more of those, however I wonder how many people really want those?

I believe they would be able to sell enough of them, but since there was no longer any other applications for the LTG GM's just not going to keep building them just for Camaros.

Eight years into the 6th gen run and we still get the "Does anyone really want a turbo 4 Camaro?" question. Yes, they do. I'm glad I got mine while I could.
