turner told me this would be next

The front lower control arms would be great because you would be able to fix your roll center after being lowered. The tension rod would compliment that well, as you would be eliminating the big bushing up front and getting camber and castor

what do you guys think?

It will definitely do those things. I can't imagine you'd need more camber than is available with the stock parts and a Vorshlag camber plate. Or you could keep stock camber plates and just go with these. Those spacers can adjust for RC. I don't know how necessary that is, even if your car is lowered. You'd have to see what the front-view geometry looks like before and after and decide if it's important. My only concern would be the increased loads on the big cap screw that serves at the ball joint pedestal on these, but one assumes that SPL has done due engineering diligence on that. Last thing: these are expensive at $1300 for the two parts, and they probably won't do much to improve measurable performance. I'd want to make sure I've done all the other things that provide better bang for the buck first.

Well there is the strut mod that Provost documented that will get you to -3.0 or more in front without any parts. -1.9 to -2.0 in rear is doable stock.

The nice thing about the Vorshlag plates is that they let you run a lot of camber at a track or autocross event and then instantly and repeatably dial it out for street driving. Also, they replace one big rubber bushing with a big spherical joint. If it were me, that would be way higher on my priority list than those SPL front arms, because they'll gain you the same major speed advantage (camber and caster) for 42% of the price and allow you quick and easy changes between street and track settings.

The roll center change is an interesting idea, but I question whether it's really important. After all, Chevy already lowers the 1LE compared to your SS and they don't change the front-view geometry at all to account for it (as far as I know, anyway). You might go a bit lower than that, but I doubt it's a major change. And frankly, high roll centers have their own issues and most dedicated race cars aim for RCs near ground level (except some aero-compromised cars like modern F1 cars that sacrifice suspension geometry for best aero). I'd encourage you to do the measurements and calculate your RC: as long as it's not below ground level, it probably isn't an issue.

I have KW shocks and Ground Control camber plate and the only change from one shock to the other is the sleeve at that top that holds the shock in the bearing. i would suppose with the right adaptor you should be able to use the Vorshlag also.
