Because everything about the car is literally different. Different platform, engines, transmissions, wheels and tires, interior and exterior. Just because it looks similar doesn't mean it's the same.

The only problems with the 5th gen are weight, visibility and interior. The exterior was always good and the 2014 tweaks seemed to help.

I'm betting the most significant changes will be on the inside.

I'm told the interior is NOT evolutionary and is quite nice.

I think the '14 MY was a transitional effort... and I like it!

Unfortunately a lot of people will think like him and not even bother looking at a sixth gen if the styling is too close to what we have now.

I thought the same too with the refresh.. But when I saw those LED tails, how prominent the Halo's were, and the sleek front.. we were sold and pulled the trigger..

Well not sure why you would bother, I mean if you have to spend double what your current camaro is worth for a car that looks almost the same why would you? Do you think the improvements( if thats what they are) will be worth another 20k?
If it changes like the vette did, then im in, if it looks the same with a few taillights tweaks etc.. then why bother?

I agree and I believe the performance will be more than a significant jump from the fifth gen.

I agree, better handling and performance will be the selling point.
