I went ahead and ordered the 60607 in the mean time. I was hoping for a cut free install. Maybe Borla will re-release the deletes when/if CA gets their head out of their ass.

Actually, it's The EPA that took issue with this part. So it's federal, not California, but it is the San Francisco office of The EPA for whatever that's worth to you.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was going off what I remembered from the PM. I knew it was from some overreaching government agency somehow.

So very little chance that we'll see these parts ever again?

Speed Engineering is working on a secondary cat delete and x-pipe that should be available this fall.

Love my setup and nothing but compliments. Auditory mana from heaven. And top notch customer service.

Thank you for the update. I figured it was likely do to something of this nature. I will still be enjoying my ATAK Cat-Back system anyway.

Wheelwell dot com or others may still have 60606.

Is this second catalyst a ceramic or metallic cat? Ceramic are easier to gut. KR

Usually in this case, They would have to put for "Offroad Use Only" and not be able to sell or ship to California residents, if they were to decide to bring it back. I may be wrong, but that's what other companies had to do.

They were marked as such before.

I went to a shop today to do a secondary cat delete and they wouldn't do it due to the federal law.

Yep, I inquired through email at the exhaust shop I used a long time again, and they explicitly said they don't modify cat converters. It's a $10,000 fine.

Do they make any bolt on or does it have to be cut and welded?
