Octane and knock

I finally have the car broken in, I am playing with the octane. The manual says 93 and I've been blending it to around 93/95- (rough 10/1 ratio of 91 and xylene) since new.

Now i'm doing full throttle pulls and low speed stomps w/o dropping a gear and was seeing no KS action. Tonight, I dropped it down to 92(ish) and still no knock. I do not know what the IAT was, but the outdoor temp was 102-111 by the car t-meter.

Has anyone else played with the octane to see the knock threshold is?

How do you know what octane rating Xylene has, it is not regulated at all and is very inconsistent from brand to brand and batch to batch.
