Interior in the WRX is straight up trash. People say the Camaro has a "bad interior", but boy does the WRX surpass even a Nissan Versa on the shit list.

LOL -"The BRZ is incredibly fast with its 2.0-liter flat-four-cylinder engine, capable of going 0 to 60 in a mere 6.2 seconds."
Hey! It's almost as fast as a Camry or an Altima, and it beats the Accord! |

Who knew, the Fiat "is fast and nimble with its powerful 160 hp......"
WTF? This should be listed under satire. |

I'd go with a 370Z. And still today I am debating with myself that I maybe should have gotten one instead of the RS. BUT I DO LOVE MY RS HAHA.

ummmm... NOPE. None of those are sports cars. Their performance are not even close to the Camaro. What is this guy smoking? Must be a millennial or something. Go eat your avocado toast.

Sorry but who the hell wrote this list? A lot of cars are totally dated like BRZ/GT86 and 370Z. Do you really spend this much money on such an old car which absolutely can't hold up to current performance specs?
Also comparing the muscle cars to a MX5 / Fiat 124? These cars are so small, you can't sit in it as a big person and you don't even have a glovebox. You have to be crazy if want big performance and do go for a base GT or LT1 model which cost as much as some cars in this list. Even an Ecobooost and 4Cyl Camaro outperform every single one of them.

I like them all. But when you look at the Camaro every one of them is a sports car. And with the Camaro you can get one with a M6 and a Chevy small block for $35K that would crush all those cars on a racetrack if you add some tires. And get 35 MPG on the highway.

I have owned a few of the cars on the list- and multiples of some - Civic SI (3), Miata (3), WRX (2) and a 2018 GTI.
They are all pretty good cars and definitely fun to drive. They all have their advantages and disadvantages as well. My two favorites are the Miata (ND) current gen and the GTI. Those 2 cars are on my top 5 list of any car I ever owned- along with my current Camaro. The Miata ND is not that quick in a straight line and it's biggest disadvantage is it's so small although it is so fun to drive and shift through the gears. The GTI I had was a 2018 and a nice car too. I had the DSG automatic and it was deceptively quick. It is not match for a Camaro SS but would give my V6 and the turbo 4 a good run. It shifts so damn quick and handles good in the turns and rides so smooth and quiet. But it's also very small. My 2016 WRX was also a nice car- except it had a rev hang. But was fun to drive on wet roads and handled great. One of my worst cars ever was my 2011 WRX- handled just awful, so much body roll and leaning- was only a 5 speed transmission and guzzled gas- 17 MPG on the highway going steady 65 MPH. The Civic SI's make nice every day drivers, fun to row the gears, great gas mileage although they are slow. Another worth mentioning is the Veloster N. Read a lot of good things and someone at work just bought one and I heard it start up. It sounds real good for a 4 banger- I mean real good. Would be interesting to see one in action. With all that said I would not swap my Camaro for any one of them. If I were going to swap it, it would only be for an SS or a C7 Corvette.

Of course most people here aren't going to agree with this list, look at the forum you're on. Also, some of these comments are why I, and many others, hate muscle car people. Everyone has different wants and needs out of their car purchase, and each of these fills those in better than the others for someone. Otherwise these cars wouldn't be for sale. The Camaro is not the end-all-be-all for sporty cars.

I wouldn't take the cars on that list, but would consider the Audi RS3.
