Thank you!
You will need:

Illuminated bow tie kit (84329529)
Bracket (84684147)
Steel bracket that goes behind grill (84684148)

You will need to drill out a hole in 84684147 big enough for the bow tie connector to fit through it (about 1"). You will also need to cut a cross section of the grill (about 1" wide) right behind the bracket, for the connector to fit through. Then the steel bracket goes behind and holds it all in place. Steel bracket is made so that the connector does not interfere. Not sure why the other bracket is not made that way
Then you snake the harness by the air intake box behind the front headlight. I reached in there via the fender liner. It connects plug and play to the headlight harness and connector
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Here is a pic for clarity.

How difficult is it to swap out my illuminated bowtie ? I have water damage in mine it doesn't look good up close in daylight. If I purchase just the bowtie without the harness is this an easy job. Basically how do you pop the bowtie out to plug the new one in?

You will have to loosen the hood latch and take the radiator cover off. People have done it without all that, but its tough

So even the 2020 is dim, but a lot brighter than the 2018 for sure.

I just ordered a replacement illuminated bowtie without the harness since I can just re use my current harness. Not looking forward to removing this all the videos I've watched people seem to struggle at it.

I actually like that it's dimmer than the DRL, after all, it's supposed to be an ambient accent and not some active lighting element.
