Is a 7.99 possible on a radial m6?
Anyone think it's possible for a 1ss m6 to go 7.99 in 1/8 mile on just a radial? 17x10.5 with a 305/45/17 mt et street r? Gonna be a couple weeks before I get to test it out.

It should be. My buddy has run 8.0x (12.30's) on the stock tires a few times...

Nice best I managed at our terrible track was a 8.3 in 2000 da on the factory tires,hopefully at the end of the month when I have everything I can get that 7.99 slip.

Granted I was on a slick but I went 7.81@92 in the 1/8th. So its definitely possible. More like probable.

I came close but I have mods. I ran 8.029 @ 1600 DA on an unprepped surface and I ran a 8.097 @ 3800 DA on a prepped surface. Next time I go back it'll run 7s for sure.

It's just kind of a personal goal for me considering I suck at launching and I've managed a 8.3 in 2000da with a 2.0 60ft I think with a radial on a 17" I can go 7.99 but I guess we will see

My best na time was on e85 and tune. Ran 7.8 at 91.8 on 26" Mt et ss

FYI- I ran a 7.983 @ 90.90 in the 1/8th last night bone stock, on the stock run flats. I expect to see a lot more times like this from others once the weather cools down more.
