17 inch drag pack tire size?

Been seeing/getting conflicted answers. Should I run a 26 inch tire or a 28 inch tire on a 17 inch drag pack? If I should run a 26 will it mess up the T/C and stabilitrac and if I need to run a 28 inch tore will it rub?

you can run a 26, just have to make sure all 4 tires are the same size. so if you want a 305 45 17 that equals to a 28 inch tire for the rear. don't offset more than ~1

Thanks. Just trying to figure out if a 26 is better or a 28 is better. I also feel like a 28 in the front would be too tall looking on a 17 inch wheel.

my front looks pretty meaty so i could imagine a 17 inch. i believe a smaller tire is better for grip.. but i'm no pro as i made the mistake of doing a 26 and 28

yeah you'd probably want to do a 26 inch in front and a 26 in rear. i think a 26 in rear is 275 40 17

I'm running 315-35r17 Hoosiers, only problem I have is the traction control will kick on any time i get on it. I turn it off anyway so its not a big deal. Car dead hooks and runs about .4 second quicker.

Is that 26 or 28 inch tire and do you have matching sizes up front?

Its a 26 inch tire, still running the stock front. That way it messes with the traction control. Looking for a pair of 18 inch rims for the frount to run 245/35 18. Shoud be about the same size as the drag radials.
