Excellent! Just the info I was looking for. Thanks!

I will check my cables to make sure nothing rubbing on belts. It's the first thing I did when I got the car and all was ok. Reminds me to check the end links on front sway

This is great news, does anyone have the final cost including installation? The link above from ThatGMPartsGuy.com notes "Customers that take it to a GM dealer to have the intake installed should not and will not be charged for labor to do the re-programming of the ECM. Dealers must charge the labor for the re-programming only to Labor OP 0601558."

From all the customer that I've worked with when it came to the service department, I've seen usual charge labor times to be 1 - 1.5hrs worth of labor, labor rates vary from dealer to dealer but it's anywhere from $120-180 range. The tune portion like you said is charged to GM themselves which is a standard hr of labor. Make sure they do not charge you for this portion.

Awesome... thank you. I live in So. Cal, I'll call around but will most likely go to Penske to have the work done.

The black portion of the MAF housing. I'm pretty sure that was on the Non-Carb design as well so I still think the only difference is the tune.

They made it available for a day and then GM turned it off again and put it back on "Future Part Status" we are currently working with Chevrolet Performance to fix this issue

It's a dry media filter so we recommend using filter cleaners not so much just washing it. K&N and big names make filter cleaners
