$895 for dual-mode performance exhaust.....is it worth it????
Just putting the finishing touches on my build and I am unsure if the added performance exhaust in the build is worth $895 or are there better aftermarket exhausts out there?

If you're going after market, go after market. But the NPP is a damn cheap alternative and you have the best of quiet and loud all in one. NPP for the win.

Yes it's worth it. You won't be able to get a (good) complete aftermarket cat back for $895. Plus the NPP is probably the best sounding exhaust I've heard with headers.

Yes, it's worth it. Tuners will be coming out with an aftermarket Exhaust shortly that will work with the dual mode software. That right there is enough for me to want it on the car when I order up. That way I can change I t out with an aftermarket NPP type exhaust and still get the functionality.

No other exhaust allows a change in tone FROM THE DISPLAY. And GM will not sell/update the software if you try to get it later. Get it now, it's a great system.

If Borla, or another big name comes out with an equivalent, then you'll still be able to turn it up and down via the drivers seat. That said, if you just want LOUD all the time, and have a favorite aftermarket sound (Flowmasters, Borla, etc) then you can probably save that money and spend it on your favorite system.

A little search goes a long way ESPECIALLY on this topic. Simply put, NPP is godly and you cannot beat it due to only being 895. Borla NPP is 2400 plus OEM fit, finish and if anything goes wrong with the NPP, free replacement due to warranty.

$895 for performance exhaust? Yeah that's pretty cheap. Also the quad tip exhaust looks sweet.
One thing I haven't seen a lot of people talk about is the difference in the rear diffuser. You get a painted gloss black diffuser instead of the matte unpainted diffuser when you purchase the dual mode exhaust. That alone would set you back a couple hundred if you wanted your diffuser painted.
