Please let me know if my user created PID is correct
You have the correct PID and equation.
Mine reports properly with it.

Thanks, I believe the cheap Chinese VeePeek module using one of the random apps doesn’t do bidirectional so it’s just not reading my custom PID’s.

Everything sent back and am just forming over the $99 for an OBDLink MX+ Module

Well i’ve Tried my OBDLink MX+ with the OBDLink app on my iPhone and have entered the custom PID below...

OBD Mode: 22
PID #: 220052
Equation: (A/255)*100

Still Nothing, yet when somebody else with an OBDLink MX & the Torque App on their Android plugs in they instantly get my ethanol %.

Does anyone have any experience with the iPhone Apps specifically?

Never, the fuel systems are designed to handle Ethanol.

So when I add my E85 kit to my N/A LT1 with headers, no cats, CAI, 95 TB & ported stock IM will the stock fuel system be okay? Also after the tune for E85 can I still use 91 octane?

Yep your fuel system will be just fine and yes you can switch from 91 to E85 or vice versa whenever you want.

It's the benefit of 'FlexFuel' vs a static E30/E85 tune.

Run whatever gas is avail...the computer will adjust.

It took less than a mile for my ECU to adjust from 93 octane to E85.

I figured it out with a little help as the OBDLink app for iOS reads a little different than the Torque app for Android.

Changed the PID Number to 0052

In the Torque app the Mode and PID are entered together on a single line i.e. 220052, but in the OBDLink app the Mode and PID are entered on separate lines i.e. OBD Mode = 22, PID Number = 0052

Question about ZL1 with LT4, fully stock. If the flex fuel sensor is installed and car is tuned for E85, how much HP will it make over stock setup on 93 gas?
If car is tuned for E85, can it run other mixtures safely? Like E30-E50 and anything in between?
And last question, does E85 make engine run hotter or cooler compared to pump gas? How does it affect factory catalytic converter? Thank you.

If I tuned your car then the answers would be accurate.

Once the car it converted to Flex fuel you can run any E content from Zero up to E60.

Do not try and run E-85

You should add a JMS fuel system voltage booster to be able to run anything over E-30 up to E60

Engines typically run slightly cooler on E fuels.

There is no effect on cats.
