Too late on the alignment this time, but I'll have to consider one for the future.

RLI is consistently cheaper for me than other carriers. One thing of note is they do factor in the track you are going to. I found this out when the cost of my identical coverage for two different events/tracks was significantly different so I called RLI. They told me rate of loss at the particular track was factored in.
For tools and supplies I also use a plastic bin with a quart of oil, brake fluid, distilled water, glass cleaner, paper towels, micro fiber towel, quality air pressure gauge, torque wrench, breaker bar, proper lug socket, lightweight jack, jack stand, power bleeder, a chair or two, and an easy up. I’m on Pirelli scrubs and bring a second set of wheels/tires in case it rains(or incident) thus the need for the jack and jack stand. I trailer my car which makes all this possible. I had to cut a day short last year due to a damaged tire and do not want that to happen again. FWIW, my first track day I brought the oil, brake fluid, water, torque wrench, chairs, and a cooler of water and some snacks. Have fun!! |
