I agree. As much as I loved the Garmin, our front windows are too narrow to have an obstruction in the center of it. I had Mylink Nav added after the fact. My Gen6 did not originally come with it.

So I just got my Camaro, it was built June 2017, I'm guessing the Nav needs to be updated, Can they really ask me to pony up $$ for this?

it never needs to be. did you buy it new? if you had asked as part of the deal you could have gotten it for free but now you have to pay. My 17 has a build date of 7-23-16 and I haven't gotten anything trying to sell me an update.

Yes, picked it up this past Saturday, so tomorrow will be 1 week.

Any idea how to see what nav version I have vs what is being peddled now?

Just crazy my 2017 SS msrp over 50 k (no i didnt pay that) and you have to pay for map updates. I buy a garmin for my part time job for $160 with free life upgrades. Give me a break.
Oh and does anyone jave the GM part # for the plastic bag the owners manual came in!!!😂😂😂

Someone did share files with me. I took a look at them and the utility I had couldn't do anything with them. I have not gone back and tried to do anything manually.
