Car is being built this week, and the dealer hopes to get it in around 2 weeks. That would make it almost exactly 8 weeks from ordering to delivery. Of course, this is assuming everything goes to plan. Wish we had our own Canadian version of Becky.

I hate dealing with GM Canada Cust. Serv. but call them up and give them your Order number and they will get you the info. Be prepared to have them tell you or refer you to your dealership as well, it must be in their training manual.

My experience was, every time I spoke to them about anything, I was ALWAYS referred back to my dealership. So I finally asked them, if you keep referring me back to my dealership, why are YOU here?

All GM customer service told me was that it had shipped on November 2nd and that delivery was 21 business days, and referred me to the dealer for more information. So they provided me with nothing. I had asked to get a log of the order codes and dates so I could have the fun of that. Apparently not. Also dealer is being uber vague on pricing. I haven't signed or committed to anything yet so I'm not sure what they plan to do about it. Not like there is a huge market for convertibles in December.

Finally starting to talk pricing with the dealer. As I said before I haven't signed or agreed to anything at this point. That being said I wouldn't want to see somebody driving around in a car that I chose. Dealer is saying we will wait until he gets the invoice and go from there. Has anybody seen an invoice for a convertible lately?

Invoice on the coupe is around $4K under MSRP. Maybe a bit more on a convertible since they cost more.

Update on my car, dealer is expecting it could show up next week, which would be more or less on schedule. Just in time for the cold weather and maybe even some snow. We will see.

Yeah I figured that it will snow 2 days before my car shows up. I don't expect to get to drive it this year. Thanks for the info on the invoice price. I did order a convertible, MRC, NPP and Nav, with a few accessories. Build price was $63,750 so if I could get it for about $5k off I'd be ok with it.

Well surprise surprise. I just happened to be looking at the dealers website yesterday after work and my car showed up as arrived. So I went down to the dealer and what do you know it was there. So Oct. 3rd ordered and arrived Nov. 18th. Hope to pick it up today. The sales manager I've been working with was away on a family thing, so that's why I haven't heard. Hoping I get a few days of driving in before the snow flies.

Sadly, no, I'm picking it up first thing tomorrow morning. They told me they didn't wanted rush it and make it perfect, which probably translates into someone didn't do their job properly and/or fast enough. But one more night can't hurt
