345/35/18 Hoosier on ZLE

Has anybody with a ZLE and 18 inch track wheels run Hoosier R7 in 345/35/18?

Based on specs and experience with PSC2 in 345/30/19 seems like they should work, but before I order I want to confirm.

Thanks!

Ok, that's good to know. I was talking to another guy who put 345/30/19 R7 on his ZLE and removed them immediately after just rolling across parking lot.

He said they stuck out too far and he was 100% sure they'd hit outside edge of fender and not clear/tuck into wheel well under heavy Gs. So he's selling them.

You're saying you see no signs of contact and you pushed it hard through some high G turns at speed right?

Also, looks like you have a non-1LE ZL1 right? What REAR camber are you running?

Thanks!

SFV1LE; 345 in 18' Hoosier is 13.2" of contact patch. Assume you have aftermarket wheels for this?

The tire does stick out, but your fender will never touch it. Word of caution, move the body harness that runs in the wheel well, it's just free protection from a dead car.

Yes I have Signature SV501 forged 18s in 11/12, made to order ZLE specs:

https://www.signaturewheel.com/product-page/sv501

I moved the left rear wiring harness a while ago to accommodate 345/30/19 PSC2 on Auto Club Speedway banking.

Thanks!

Yup, you can do the 325/345 18 option. Or the 315/345. Either will work fine.

I'd try to squeeze them 325s in the front if you can.

Thanks, yeah that would be great. The lowest cost option seems to be Pirelli DH scrubs in 305/325 with 680 diam.

Vendor I talked to said 315/680/18 front might rub, doesn't sound right but they have a lot of experience. Any thoughts on this?

Previous owner of my car ran 345/35-18 A7's on a +46et wheel on the back. It rubbed through the fender liner but it fit. I just got my BC track wheels in today and I'm planning on running 315/30-18 front and 335/30-18 rear. +9et front and stock +41et rear

so I have ZL1 1LE spec wheels and offsets. There is some tire rub against the fenders, for me its fine.. no big deal at all... I'll take the extra grip and clean off the rubber from time to time... if this bothers you, stick with 325s.. It doesn't bother me one bit

my fronts are 315 30 19 and those rub at full lock... still doesn't bother me..

camber is 2.0 in the rear... 3.2 up front

Thanks for feedback... as long as it clears the outer fender lip I think I'm ok with it, only concerned about cutting the tire on track and/or damaging metal that's very visible like that.

You have a non-ZL1 and can get -3.2 front? Is that standard for a ZL1 or did you do something to make it possible? I assumed you needed camber plates to get that much in front.

I would not worry about this setup... the rears will fit no problem with room to spare. The 315 fronts are only 0.2" wider section width than OEM 3R in 305/30/19 and the diameter is 0.2" less.

I concur. And the reduced stagger will give me a little more front end bite.

Kumho ACR's 355 30 R19's on the rear of mine currently, only rubs under full compression.
