But even then, no bank will finance it, most insurance companies will not insure it, so the buyer would have to pay cash. Hard to sell it that way.......
Any insurance company will insure it in my experience, just with a quick inspection. I drive rebuilt title cars and have rebuilt several. You have to get insurance to even get the title converted over from Salvage to Rebuilt so to assume that an insurance company won't cover it is silly. Granted they won't do comp/coll until inspection but the longest that's ever taken me was 10 minutes.. 7 of which was waiting for the agent to end a phone call.

IMO that car is worth 12-14. The issue is the door frame, that damage SUCKS to fix. The qtr panel sucks too but that's a lot easier to weld a replacement panel in than it is to fix the door frame.

I personally wouldn't have touched that car because of the door frame. Can't tell in the pics if the front aprons are damaged but that would be something to avoid also. Both just cost a lot of money to fix and can't be done in your garage (unless your garage is a bodyshop I guess).

I’ve rebuilt cars that were totaled that looked much better than this thing - and cost a lot less. However, I suppose a really talented body shop tech could just buff it out...

Shoot I wish they would part it out...

Surprised no one has made the obligatory “that’ll buff right out” comment yet...
