Airbag system and removing passenger seat
Upon removing the passenger seat for racing, the airbag light comes on.
Is the whole airbag system disabled or only certain airbags?

Every time you remove a seat, the SRS system registers a disconnected or lost system.
The rest of the system "should" be just fine. But the light tells you you lost a component and, in my experience, only goes off with the dealer's OBD tool. When I remove my seats for any reason, I disconnect the battery first and I don't reconnect the battery until the components are reconnected. This is a PITA when you just want to move the car, but it keeps the light off.
