I have a 2019 2ss with stock npp and recently installed a Borla Atak axle back (live in CA, still under warranty). I’ve only had it for 2 days, but unfortunately don’t notice it to be any louder than the stock system at idle or low RPM. At high RPM, it sounds louder and still has a lot of pops and crackles during deceleration. I almost always have my exhaust sound set to track or sport mode so the exhaust valves stay open. I like the looks and sound slightly better, but in hindsight, not sure I’d do it again given the ROI. Most of the Corsa and Borla videos likely have more than just an axle back installed to produce the sound we’re after. I’d love to hear the experiences of others that only upgraded to an axle back. It could be that I’m not noticing the 3-5dB difference in the car and need to spend some time listening to the exhaust outside the car.
