Lt2 intake with lt4 hpfp

Who all is going to be doing the lt2 im. If you have a lt4 hpfp it won’t work without a spacer.

Who all is interested in getting spacers so you know it will bolt up when if if you get this pump or already have it.

Is that legit? The lt4 fuel pump is that much taller than the lt1? The lt2 intake actually seems higher in the valley cover area once the ridges are shaved.

I’m working on posting a video on it but yea the ridges have nothing to do with it. The actual intake hits the pump the lt1 oem pump clears cause there a little dimple but the lt4 pump sits up above the circular part of the pump.

I spoke to a friend that said you could heat them up near the pump and push them in more. Maybe this would work?

Is this why Im seeing the LT2 intakes for sale everywhere. I could be wrong but i also thought that shaving the fins on the under side above the hpfp allowed the lt2 to fit over lt4 hpfp. I thought GPI offered it as a package.

I do believe the fitting of the LT2 manifold on the LT1 Camaro SS engine is what the GPI mod is intended for you not the Lt4. The fuel pump is different on the LT4 and it’s not the same fit as LT1 SS.

After shaving the manifold in all the correct spots it fits like a glove on the SS.
