crank options

3.9 or 4.0 crank for a stock bore size stroker. Everything Ive read in the past recommends 3.9 for reliability and durability. what are you guys thoughts

I read an article from a major crank company, sorry don’t remember which one, they produce both crank specs. They stated the 3.9 was the best option because it keeps the piston up in the bore better so there is not as much rock at the bottom of the stroke. Maybe some skilled builders will chime in.

Good to know. With all these 416’s see being built especially with forced induction I could only assume some of that had been addressed. I’ll have to do some research now.
