What kind of artificial intelligence may lurk within?
If this topic has been covered please redirect me.
After hooking up a sub amp today I locked the car with the back seat down and waited to make sure the amp shut down. After it did I wanted to put the seat back up and pressed the unlock button on the driver's door handle not realizing that I didn't have the key fob on me. So obviously the door wouldn't open, but the DIC and head unit backlit remaining grey for about 10 or 15 seconds before powering down again. So for the sake of argument, I put both key fobs in the bedroom with two doors between them and tha car and also put my phone in airplane mode. Pushed the button again and same thing. So I checked the manual, and since it's a '17, Google wasn't much help either . Does anyone know if this is part of the alarm system? If so, is the data recorded? Or is it just some sort of system check? Can anyone provide a little insight? |
