Rear Shock Removal
Looking to change out rear shocks (with GM lowering kit)It looks like the rear shocks have single threaded shaft on top with a nut. Is the nut accessed from under the car or in the trunk?

You don't unbolt the top of the shaft to remove them. You take out the 3 bolts that hold the damper top mount to the body that can be seen from outside the car and take it all out as an assembly. From there you can take the top mount off and swap it to the new damper if needed.

thanks...my main find was to determine if top removal was accessed from trunk or outside/underside of car
