My Dog is 97 lbs, He won't fit in the front seat, much less the back seat.

Not to mention that's at least 2/10ths off my 0-60 easy.

When my Golden was a puppy last year I took him for rides all the time. Got one of those pet seat covers off amazon and he loved it. Now that he's 80+ lbs we usually take the truck. I do have one of those back seat covers with the net that goes behind the armrest area so if we do take the car he can ride in back where he's got more space and I can properly buckle him in. He loves it either way, when he hears the R word, he goes nuts lol.

My "lil' Dude" has never ridden in the car (he's 80+ lbs and kind of a "Moose"), but he loves to stand guard on it... (from the day I brought the Camaro home...)

This... I have my Tahoe and my Camaro and when I take our lab, she goes in the Tahoe. I've taken her in the Camaro a couple times, but the hair is simply just to much for me to want to try to clean up. The Tahoe is FAR easier to clean up and she has a ton more room. If the Camaro was my only car... yes, she'd be in it all the time. Thankfully I have a choice.

Thankfully, Max, 12 year old black lab, has never liked going for rides in any vehicle.
I will say though, that if he did, I’d let him sit where he wants….

Same here, my golden is about 85 pounds and we take her to a few car shows, couldn't fit me, wife and dog in a vette

She likes riding in the convertible (loved all the attention she got at the 4th of july parade we did) but still prefers to take the dog car (caddy deville) for any longer rides since it has a couch for a backseat and ac vents just for her

Maybe if I had something small that was hairless and had no claws. When I had the Charger and now the Camaro, absolutely not. I love our dogs, but I prefer my leather and panels scratch free and hate detailing when there's hair everywhere. My wife throws them in the back seat of her '17 Ram all the time and it looks like something hairy exploded back there. Black interior and white hair, drives me nuts, but it's her truck and it makes her happy. I have a '94 Ram and an '04 Ram and there's not a thing in either truck that they can hurt so that's where they ride with me. My big dog sheds just looking at him. I swear I hear the theme song to High Plains Drifter every time I see one of his hair tumbleweeds go rolling across the tile floors. Thank God for that robot vacuum. This one 20 minute round trip visit to the vet equals enough hair in the seat to weave a small throw blanket. But he is a great dog and loves those trucks!

I drove from Houston to St.Louis and back over the summer about 2 weeks after i bought my car. I have a seat cover that i use and made a little hammock for her in the back. She's an old pup and slept pretty much the whole time.

Daily driver is a cobalt with a heavy duty rear seat cover for my dog and he loves riding around in it (7 year old malamute husky). My Camaro 1SS 1LE will be my evening/weekend warrior until my ZL1 finally gets built and comes in and then I'll trade up for it.

No dogs, but I had a cat escape his carrier once on the way to the vet in my 1LE. He got spooked, and hopped up on the front dash with his claws out, tore up the dash and door panel with his claws. Had an interior repair person try to fix the scratches, they look a little better but still bugs me, No more animals in the Camaro!
