Rear drag radial on 9.5 wheel
Would running a 305/35 drag radial on the stock 9.5 wheel be safe for a few trips to the track when paired with a 275/35 on a 10 wheel? My concern was that the front might be a little wider than the rear

You only need to worry about a comparable tire height. Keep the difference less than one inch.

Thanks! I know it is less than ideal to not go ahead with a 17” wheel and tire combo but for the few times I would actually make it to the track I was hoping I could safely get by

I never swap tires...been on my car for 4500 miles. The car only sees nice weather...either way it's more then fine for a couple trips to the track. It drives and handles surprisingly well for daily use even at highway speed.
