IMO...backseat is just for kids. That head space certainly can't be for adults.

Someone 5'2 can easily fit in the back unless they are either big and and fat or the people up front have the seats all the way back.

We are a family of hobbits, and I still consider the rear seat uninhabitable. We call it the punisher. Its a real shame too, cuz the contour of the seat is actually really nice. My 4'11 ladies do not hit their heads at least, but still feel closed in back there. I don't like people climbing around to get back there anyway.
