I bought the pre-cut variant for the front and rear bowtie. It cost me less than $20, and came out perfect. A year later it's holding up just fine. This is on a daily driver BTW, so it seems snow, rain, and everything else

And my first question was: what do you mean by it keeps sliding off?
This product is meant to be peeled off so it won't stick like normal paint.

I’m thinking I either didnt let it dry enough between coats or I put the coats on too heavy. The product would run down the area I was trying to coat, leaving less coverage on the top half of the bow tie.

Yep too heavy coats. This product is made to build up by thin layers. Like it is better to do 15 thin layers than 4 thick.

I started very thin coats on coat 5. I’m up to 8 now and its doing better

Mine came with gold illuminated, popped right off and the black one popped right into its place
