Your MPG calc is based on driving attributes/past attributes. So, say, youve been driving like a maniac for a full tank, go fill up, check the guage it will base its "range" on how you drove recently. Over time, it will correct itself. Get out on a long road, set the cruise at 70 and you'll get well over that 171 and the calculator will begin to correct for that. I forget the range, but those calculators are based on

'previous X miles driven, this is how he normally drives given those previous X miles, so safe to assume XX is how far he'll go before he needs to fill up'

'ok, so over the last X miles, he was getting XXmpg, so, change the range number to this instead'

Reset your “average MPG” and then drive a few miles- you’ll see your actual range based on your driving style and new average MPG.

Filled up yesterday and went for a cruise ... 150 miles later I was at about a half of a tank. Greta Thunberg would be very proud!

yeah the most I have been able to coax out of mine on careful 70mph 6th gear cruise is ~19.4 MPG, which got me a touch over 200 miles out of a tank.

Yes this makes more sense. It’s based on past driving pattern. Ok cool, going to let my mom drive my Z for a while and will go from there...thanks Judge

That comment was funny too funny. Greta Thunberg: “How dare you get 171 miles per tank.” STHU, suck on my exhaust tail pipe.

So I’m just curious, what are people ACTUALLY getting for range? Because my driver center stays at 28.7mpg and that’s a lie. I got 188miles on my last fill up to the low fuel light. My car is hci, Lt’s and exhaust, 102mm tb. I’m wondering if my tune could be improved upon or is this my “new normal” lol

I just got 210 before the low fuel light came on, including 70 miles worth of highway cruising. I need to turn the o2’s back on and start logging fuel trims...
