Polsiher Pads
Going to be buying a polisher today (they sell the Griots dual action locally for not much more than amazon, so plan on getting that).
My question is, Glen recommends some specific pads, a "white pad" for the polish and a "blue" foam pad for wet diamond. Will any standard "polishing" pad and any standard "foam" pad from the local auto store work, or are pads like MF cloths in that you can get cheap and shitty ones? Thanks!

I would go with a 5" backing plate and 5.5" pads. Lake Country makes great pads, I've purchases
D a few Buff n Shine pads, haven't tried them yet...
