Dash cam not working?

You may have seen me post here before about my dash camera. So right now I have 2 separate ways to power it, the original being the OBD sensor but I wanted to wire it to the fuse box instead. So now, my second way, I have the wires running down the passenger side, into the hood, and wired as you see here.

The problem is, its not getting power. When I switch to the other cable, the dash cam turns on no problem. I switch to this one, and get nothing. I have 2 wires, the power and ground, as you can see the ground is going where the other vehicle ground is as seen in this video starting around 15:00:

And my other wire is going to the 15 amp fuse, also shown in that video which is supposed to be the accessory tap. I have also tried on the 30 amp fuse that was always hot, and neither time did I get any power to my dash cam. Am I doing something wrong? Or is something broken?

I'm going to go with bad crimp on your fuse connector wire splice. did you check for continuity with your wire before plugging anything in ? Assuming you're connecting to a fuse that is otherwise getting power to begin with.

Or blown inline fuse in that splice. But I assume you checked for blown fuses.

This was actually tested without a full crimp but physically pushing the wire all the way in while doubled up. I can fully crimp it but I was afraid something was messed up because it was not working. (I also tried just holding the wire directly where the original fuse goes and it would not power on that way either)

All fuses were checked and are all good. I will go and fully crimp it and test again.

EDIT* I do believe the fuse I am tapping into is the horn. according to this anyway: https://fuse-box.info/chevrolet/chev...ses-and-relays

I tapped into F22 which I believe is the "Antilock brake system valve" and now the camera will run 24/7 until it detects the battery is too low.
