Anyone else have anything like this.

Have them on both sides on top of the rear fenders. Is this something Chevy will take care of?

I worked at a G.M. factory for 30 years in stock, many panels doors hoods quarters had the same small dents which you could see easy because they had not been primed or painted yet, they did nothing to them, later a new plant manager rejected entire rack of said parts and sent them back, maybe it was a new policy,I don't know, but I was happy-for the customers-now thats back? Im sad,A new car with dents?Fail! When production is high-they let some things go bbut as someone said metal is thinner nowadays.

This is NOT a fail from the factory.

This is caused by excessive, localized pressure on the top of the rear quarter.

The metal is thin, but it is on all cars now, due to weight reduction necessary for MPG, etc.

Be careful not to rest your elbows on there, and if you go to a car wash, warn them ahead of time.

Just sayin'

Definitely NOT factory. There are some on mine that you could tell were factory, some not. I had some that were from the dealership showroom floor, the dealer fixed (at least attempted to) at no charge. Tint guy added a couple when tinting the back window. Even when I brought it back there to show him what he did he said "this is the most pressure I would have put on it which is next to nothing" and he dinged it in yet another spot trying to show me he did not ding it originally. They really need to reinforce that area.

So weird that this topic came up bc I just noticed one on my car as well. Had some repairs done recently and they probably leaned on the panel or something. Crazy to think that would dent the car but I'm not totally surprised.

Yes I'm having the same problem and dealer telling me they won't repair. Did you have any lucky with your dealership.

Why would they if it is not a production or manufacturing issue. As a few here have noted the surface is thin and leaning on it can cause oil canning.
