No offense taken, looks are totally subjective, and honestly I wasn't sold on the styling either until seeing it in the flesh (much better looking in person vs pictures) but either way doesn't look like anything else on the road minus some Alfa Gulias and I like that looks way more exotic/unique.

Come on you think its worse than the 2019 SS Refresh can't be lol (somewhat joking) as I don't think Toyota will be forced to do a redesign after only one year haha.

Glad to hear that it looks better in person.

So much insanely weird stuff comes out of Japan, that this car doesn't really surprise me that much. I just find no grace or beauty in it. Nor does it look muscular in any way that makes sense to my eyes. Just... YUCK! LOL. Sorry.

Our Camaros look muscular and sharp to me. Most Corvettes look good. Even Mustangs and Challengers.

For real beauty, though, it is tough to beat an old Jaguar XKE or an Aston Martin DB5 or DB6.

I'm not a fan of the exterior styling, though I've yet to see one in person, but the performance can't be ignored. And that exhaust note is

Yeah the exterior is a big let down compared to the concept but that has happened on many occasions to me.

The performance looks legit, I hope to see some at track days soon.

Problem is you are comparing the looks of the Supra to basically muscle cars, which it is not. I like you prefer the muscle look but this Supra looks really good as well especially in some of the online review where it was red.

Give it a few months to a year and I am sure there will be a sport/track package offered with larger wheels/tires, brakes, and aero. Its just like viewing the standard SS, it looks okay, but in the 1LE trim it really comes alive.

While not entirely true to the last supra's pedigree, I think a cheaper z4 coupe with a better elsd and more agressive styling (Imo) is a cool car on it's own and an interesting option. Like mentioned before, maybe the old Supra die hards won't love it, but prospective Cayman, Z car, Camaro, mustang, Shelby, Vette, and m2/m4, Miata buyers will have another legitimate option.

I do wish the manual option comes along down the road for the Toyota though. Most of those other cars have a manual option.

Kinda looks like a Continental Kit on the rear of the car. Resembles a Miata in overall design with a punch nose front end. Not my style of car by any means but the Supra of the past can be a bad mofo.

Not worry at all about that car competing with our Camaro. The new Supra wouldn't even come close to the previous MKIV Supra which was an icon.
New one is underpowered, ugly looking and not even would have the Toyota reliability because main components are BMW.

the supra does have about that much

The motor has been out since 2016, it's used on all bmw with the "40i" designation.

I had a debate about this on another forum. I pulled up multiple stock dyno's from a 340i, which has a factory rating of 320hp crank. They dyno around 330whp bone stock. Which is nuts. If the supra engine actually makes more power than the 340i, which it should because they upgraded a few things, figure the supra will dyno around 345-350whp.

Which means it has atleast 382hp
