Round 2 mods for CMS Camaro SS 1le

About a month or so ago we installed a set of headers and tune our 2013 Camaro SS 1le, the car felt great, but now its time for Round 2 of mods. Today we installed one of our custom grind camshafts, this cam is rather mild, emphasis is on under the curve power as this car is road coursed. However dont be fooled, this cam still has a nice lope/sound, but the driveabilty is unchanged from stock.

Attached below are the dyno graphs from today, the only change made to the car from the before (green graph) to the after (red graph) is the camshaft, this car still has the stock air intake, expect another 10-15 more with a good air intake.

Huh? That's far from stock. I would say, adding CAI would be close to stock.

Obviously our opinions differ. To me something that can be put back to stock over a weekend isn't a highly modded car. Does it have mods? Yes. Just bolt on? No. But not irreversible.

OP why no CAI? To test the difference on the dyno?

I think youre the first person ever saying internal work like a cam is not a 'lot' done to a car. While a lot more can be done, like custom turbo setup, a cam is good step up over the average-Joe boltons.

Hey Ryne ! Good to see you on here. CMS does an amazing job. They did some great work on my Camaro and once I buy a 2014 they will do work again.

yeah i know its a little ass backwards not to have an intake, but we were suppose to a free intake for testing from another company, but still havent gotten it yet.

Oh ya I defiantly agree. Tons more can be done and yes a cam is pretty extensive, not just a bolt on part. But for a cam, headers and tune those are awesome numbers for only a few mods.
