Crash sensors in Gen6 diffuser

I am looking at various aftermarket diffusers and ACS told me using theirs would mean losing the crash sensors. Can anyone provide additional insight to this?

As far as what...? And I wouldn't call them crash sensors. It's just rear sonar to avoid hitting objects when backing up.

And how would trimming the rear diffuser interfere with this sonar? Any idea?

The rear backup sensors are in the bumper, not in the diffuser.

Exactly. You can physically see the dots where they are located.
