One month. Ordered Feb 17,came in March 17th. Good thing the weather cooperated for me to get it home. Figures,it snowed bad the next week.

About 7 months and 25 days. Ordered Oct 13, 2008 and it was picked up at the dealership on Jun 4, 2009. I was also the First person in my area to Order one and take delivery of one.

about 5 mouths if not alittle longer till i got my money in order but when i found nightfall took about a week

but sence you were talking about ordering i got it right off the lot

Two weeks....ultimately wound up working a dealer swap between a dealer in Wichita and one in Green Bay, WI.

The previous 2 swaps we tried to work, both with the features I wanted (Black 1SS/RS with the Hurst short throw shifter and BA sound system), fell through....both in Dallas...one sold...the other got hailed on.

Parents took me out to buy me a car one afternoon and I picked the camaro and we got it =]. so... no waiting. bought it off the lot.

Wish I could have chose 2 options though. I'm currently WAITING for another one.

Too damn long....

Order Date: May 28, 2009
Delivered: December 22, 2009

(yes, I week short of 7 long months).. First was a color constrainst, then the July plant vacation shutdown, then a V8 engine problem, then the backup sensor installs and then my order "fell out of the system".

After still sitting at 1100 for 5 months - the dealership figured out I knew what I was talking about cause I was getting my information from the best site/folks in the world - HERE.... From that point (11/6/09) only 6 wks.

Worst wait of my life, but I learned a hell of a lot about this car...

I think your dealer just had an allocation. Mine was clueless as to when they would have one. Sad part is they were the only dealer in the Puget Sound area that would even talk about GMS pricing. So I waited. VIN - 42021

my Husband said "too damn long" funny, that's the same thing he says when someone asks how long we've been married.

He has wanted one since they were concept cars and once the Transformers movie came out ..well....I think he was the only guy who said it was "too much girl, not enough car"

we weren't in a financial position to buy one when they came out, but as soon as we were, we lucked out and found one on the lot exactly like he wanted, otherwise we would have ordered one.

Same story as TiffBiff; waited a loooooong time for the convertible release. Ordered in November 2010, built February 7, picked it up a month later in March.
