True. It broke my heart to see the last Sears in St. Louis close recently because whenever I went to the mall I always parked by the tool section door and made my wife look at tools with me when we went into the mall. That's about the only way she got me to go to the mall.

TPBM is sad to see long time names like Sears, Toys R Us, Kmart, etc. go out of business

TRUE.....like yourself, I actually enjoy going to our mall, or at least I did, more and more places both big and small are going out of business because people won't get off their lazy a$$s, close their computer (or phone) and get out into the world and interface with people.

TPBM hates is when the weather won't make it mind up....and it cold/cool in the morning and requires a jacket when you leave the house but by mid-morning you end up carrying in because its warmed up a lot.....grrrrrrrr.

IMO, the downfall of many brick and mortar stores is the lack of training of their employees. The last time I bought an appliance was at Sears and after having waited for 15+ minutes to find a sales associate, when I asked about the product and why I should buy this one over that one they pulled the card off of the appliance that I had been reading for the 15+ minutes it took them to get over there to read me the specs. When I told them I already read that they pulled up reviews online.

If I'd wanted to do that I would have shopped online and not given them their commission.

TRUE!! I'd rather see the weather start about 60*F and get up to about 80*F. That's my ideal kind of day. Not too cold to start and just hot enough that I'm not uncomfortable.

TPBM is tired of catching EVERY SINGLE cold that their child brings home from school or their family brings to family get togethers.
