Redline Water Wetter?

Thoughts on Redline Water Wetter for a NA 2SS with Pray ported IM/TB and an RX Catch Can. No other mods.

I used it in a 93 Vette, 95 Miata R-Type, and a 96 Impala SS. Seemed to work as advertised.

Just want to make sure there’s no issues with the Gen6 LT1’s and the newer DexCool 50/50 coolant.

Thanks much!

The only way you are going to really know is to mix both the wetter and the Dex Cool in a mason jar and let it stand over night a see what it looks like the next day, if you have separation, jelling or the likes you'll know it's a no-go.

No issues at all. Running it in both my engine and intercooler coolants mixed with Dexcool.

No, never considered running without it... I’m about 20% dexcool in my intercooler and have a bottle of Water Wetter in it. I’m at 40% dexcool in the cooling system and have 2 bottles of WW in it. I’ve been using it for nearly 20 years in a multitude of different cars with good luck. Whipple recommends it as well...

I am not sure why you think you need any additive for cooling system. I ran many track days several in summer and one with 95 degrees with 90% humidity and my coolant temp never went above normal at any time. These cars have 3 radiators, no overheating issues that I am aware of.

Well, if the coolant can shed heat off at the radiator more efficiently it stands to reason that it can pick the heat up off the engine more efficiently. If that leads to lower temps of those materials then it could lead to lower oil temps and such. I'm all for that.
