Good Morning, Contrary to the advertised HP gain claims on the market GM did not leave much on the table in the way of Peak HP, But there are definitely advantages to the tuning which help you get down the track faster and more enjoyable driving experience.

I make the engine run cooler which leads to more consistent performance.

I disable skip shift on the M6

I get rid of torque management for better throttle response.

I raise the rev limit 200 rpm over stock so you can shift at Optimum RPM without banging the limiter.

I remove the speed limiter.

I clean up the WOT fueling.

I optimize the spark tables for quicker acceleration.

I optimize shift times and pressures.

I reduce trans torque management to safe levels.

This is the foundation which goes in to all custom tunes.

Then of coarse tune for any aftermarket parts installed to make them work to there full potential.

Feel free to give me a call for more details on my custom tuning program via HPtuners.

Ted

two questions I've heard a tune voids warranty? If I need warranty work can, how fast or hard is it to remove tune and reinstall, assuming there would be a cost. A tuning question is it possible to get that cammed idle lope with out the cam lol only minnipulating the tune. For ss

What year is your car, Auto or Manual?

By the letter of the warranty you are correct yet in over 6500 Cars I tuned not one person has ever had they're warranty voided nor can I find anyone that has.

Yes you can return to stock with any of the current tuning solutions.

It is possible but miserable to drive and not something I offer.

SCT has always supported flex fuel tuning, I have tuned many cars with SCT For Flex fuel.

The only issues is the logger can't see alcohol content.

If I buy HP Tuners can I tune the car myself? I am a beginner, any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you purchase HPtuners from me you will qualify for a huge discount on a custom tune which will give you a great foundation to work from.

remote tuning in Europe

Ted @ JannettyRacing

Interested in remote tuning in Sweden/Europe
I don't seem to find any mail address to you?

Prefer mail as we are in different time zones.
Mine is sfro.ludde@gmail.com

Prefer HP-Tuner and hasn't bought yet so I will gladly buy this from you.

My car for the moment is 2017 M6 SS with CAI (Roto-Fab), Secondary Cat Delete (Borla 60606), Axle-back (Borla Atak).

Runs only on 98 Octane RON which corresponds to US 93 PON.
(Will not go E85 as car stands still a lot.)

Coming upgrades are Headers, Ported IM & 95mm TB

OK so we have a 2013 v6 with mods do you have a tune for that one. Mods are blacking Cai tube and k&n drop in filter in the stock box ported throttle body from south west speed I believe the vmax and full cat back exhaust from solo exhaust out of new York. With the j pipes not looking for something that major just something to help it breath better and up the gas mileage. It's my son's car now and he's 18 so don't want to kill him. I also just purchased a 2017 50that anniversary addition v6. Starting to modify it only has 3600 miles

We can certainly help you give us a call after the new year and you can purchase 1 device to tune both cars via email

https://jannettyracing.com/products/hp-tuners-mvpi-2

You will purchase 6 licenses along with the device 2 for the 13 and 4 for the 17

if the 17 is an auto then 4 more licenses will be required along wtih a TCM unlock service.

An AEM wide band is recommended with both car for optimum performance.

https://jannettyracing.com/pages/sea...?q=aem-30-0334

We also have mounting solutions as well for both cars.

We will reopen Jan 2 call us 203-753-7223

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Ted.

After you create your account you will see your credits show up under my devices.

Follow the instructions included in the box to install the software on your laptop.

Software is in the HPtuners thumb drive.

After the software is installed go to Help, about and check for updates install if there is an update.

Connect your device, go to Help Sync MPVI2, make sure you have internet connection.

Then connect to vehicle open HPtuners Editor, push and hold your start button for 8 seconds without touching the brake pedal, it will put the car in service mode, then read the vehicle tune file, save it to my documents/hptuners/logs adn tunes.

Use this format 17 Camaro LT-1 M6 or Auto, and your name.

Email me that file along with all your info, your vehicle info, Mod list, and fuel burned.

If you have any difficlutly Feel free to call us in the morning, and we are happy to help you.

Thank you for your business.

Ted.
