Hello Rob, Thanks so much for putting this together. I know this was a bunch of work. THANK YOU!
The Tail of the Dragon was awesome. I really like how my SS 1LE felt on those 11 miles. My 22 year old son CJ will have a memory that lasts a lifetime. ( I let him drive the Dragon!)For us, we made a vacation out of this. Got a cabin in Gatlinburg, stopped at the Wheels thru Time museum and of course a pass thru the Old Smoky Distillery.

Thanks for the interest. I put these trips out well in advance so people who want to attend can make arrangements. We drove over 700 miles to get there one way. The key is preparation. This isnt the kind of thing you just wake up on Saturday morning and go for a cruise. To anyone who would like to attend in the future pm me. I will post a date or range of dates. Choose your vacation time and figure on at least one day to drive in and another to head home. Unless youre within 2-3 hours ride this ends up being a few days typically Thursday through Sunday or similar. Next time lets have a big showing of KG cars. Sadly this was the second year I have run this and we only managed to get 4 total. Peace.

Talking

Loved those pics from the Dragon. Dying to get my car there.

Anyway, I just figured I'd post a few pics since the Hulk is nearly done.

The trunk stripe is done, black bowtie back on, and smoked sequential taillights installed.

Just wanting factory gfx, cold air intake, and some airbrushing under the hood.

Unhappy The Hulk is DEAD!😢

My first Krypton Green 2SS that I sold to a guy in Missouri who then sold it to his friend in New Zealand is officially DEAD!

A friend at work showed me the Facebook page and I called the guy in Missouri to let him know and he confirmed it.

I knew it was my first one immediately cuz the hood, mirrors, & spoiler were glossy black(carbon flash metallic), it had the Street Scene Ground FX on it, and the LED marker lights.

You can clearly see the canards on the ground fx in the wrecked pics and the scuffed LED marker light on the rear.

The new owner changed the rims, added green stripes to the hood, and decals to the sides.

R.I.P. my green friend.

Compare the details in my pics at the bottom to the wrecked pics.

Looking real good, especially those striped wheels.

Thumbs up

I'm no longer the only Krypton Green prowling the highways and bi-ways of eastern Iowa.

I was coming home from work and spotted this turbo 4 cylinder. I followed the guy until he stopped and he's just as excited about his car as I am mine.

He's an older gentleman, but said he wished he could have found an SS, but the turbo 4 had a lot of pep and got great mileage.

He asked about different mods and stuff so I gave him the forum web site, a bunch of other web sites for "stuff" to bolt on, and my help with any questions or installtion.

He wanted to put orange stripes on it, but after seeing mine, he changed his mind. He's thinking white, silver, or black.

Hopefully he'll come by here.
