Who's running big power?

Just curious, those of you running big power, do you have additional runs of power wire from your battery to your alternator? I'm asking because I'm wondering if the stock run can support power ranges like 2.5k+ rms.

I’m running a little over 2000 watts RMS
1 x Hertz Mille Power 1
1 x Hertz Mille Power 4
1 x Hertz Mille Power 5

I am running two bat caps, using original power and ground to the alternator (No Big 3 upgrade). But I am running an Interstate AGM battery in place of the OEM battery

How low does your voltage drop at full tilt?

Haven't used a multimeter to check, but there are no flickering lights. However, I must say, I rarely play it at full tilt. Those days are long gone. This setup is more for SQ than SPL

I hear you on that lol. I never play full tilt either. I was just wondering if the stock run from the alternator to battery was sufficient enough.

This is good to hear, I'm planning a Rockford T1500bd-CP along with a 4 channel here soon and really don't want to dig into the highoutput alternator game on a brand new car.

I have wondered the same thing, but with so much electronics in cars now I THINK the days of makers cheeping on wire are gone, plus it should carry a higher voltage coming strait from the alternator than off the battery to the trunk.
