Going to use my 2018 Camaro SS as backup car for bracket racin

So i bought a Silver 2018 Camaro SS back in March. I have used the Camaro at 5 bracket races at Orlando Speedworld. The 1st race i did terrible and did not win a round , the 2018's apparently have lots of torque management. At the 3rd event I ran the Camaro at i made it to the final in Sportsman by lots of luck. I won 3 rounds with .120 , .160 and .180 lights . When you stage and bring the car up on the converter to 1500 or 1600rpms the TQ management kills the power for about 20 to 30 feet so it is hard to cut a good light and the car does 2.16 to 2.20 60 foots (horrible). In my 2006 GTO I am usually between .020 to .040 on the tree and oh yeah it 60's 1.48 to 1.50. What i have been doing now is bump in 2" to 4" more once I am pre staged and staged, I am cutting .030 to .060 lights in the Camaro doing this. I am #6 in points with 3 more events to go and plan on driving the Camaro to Division Finals in Oct. Hoping to get to the top 3 in points. Been #2 twice and #3 twice in the last 5 years, hoping to get it done in the Camaro!!

What is your primary car? I have only T&T mine so far, planing on another one next month, want to focus on that 60 and getting it to launch with the TC off.

The Camaro is my daily driver. I have bracket raced the GTO since it was new but i have had many issues with the GTO this season. My Camaro will not 60' good when I stall the car on the converter but if you launch off idle your reaction time is .200 to .300 which will not work for bracket racing. My best run with the Camaro off idle withg TC off in competion mode the car ran 12.34 @ 115 with 1.92 60' . When I stage and launch on the converter at 1500rpm- 1600rpm the car runs 12.52 to 12.56 pretty consistant with 2.16 to 2.20 60' but I can cut good lights that way. I do have Nitto dragradials now but with the stock tires the car would spin off the line with TC off.
