is this normal?
Hi, about a year ago I installed a flowmaster cat back exhaust. Now has an exhaust leak stain at the connection -see photo-
1. Will this eventually corrode into a hole on the GM cat side pipes? 2. Can I assume they are stainless? 3. In the photo, the left side is the engine side, the right side is the flowmaster exhaust side. Does Anyone know why all the staining is so prominent only on the left side of the connection clamp?

...but is the GM pipe stainless? Will it rust out if it gets worse?

1. no
2. yes 3. don’t know. maybe gravity. The black wet soot often drips out of the stock suitcase’s weep holes. It’s just soot. |
