DIY lowering spring PSA (MRC)

Be sure to pop the MRC sensor arms off on the rear of the car before dropping the control arm to remove the spring.

I now have 2 broken sensors, I watched Sledge's vid, and the Phastek video for installing lowering springs, and unless I missed it, it was not discussed. (I think Phastek was a non MRC car)

I have no clue what it is going to cost, or what the effects will be, as I am still putting it back together, but hopefully it prevents someone else from getting in a bind.

Side note: The E Brake line on the rear is a PITA to work around as well, even if you remove the 10mm bolt.

Just to update, got new sensors overnight from thatgmpartsguy.com (great to work with btw), installed them, and the car has not kicked a code or DIC message, I took it out and hit a few roundabouts pretty hard, so I think she is back to healthy again!

That's great to hear. I'm sure your lesson will be a great help to many. And yes, GMpartsguy is a fantastic vendor.

From the title I was expecting to see you with a cutting torch and a set of stock springs.

Glad I was wrong. Haha. Good info.
