I have to agree, I have owned both and I got rid of mine because it was burning 1qt of oil every 500 miles. To me, it was just a matter of time that the motor would have to be replaced. Would anyone on here really want some joker at a dealer to replace a GT350 Voodoo motor that doesn't know anything about it? I got lucky and sold it quick and got the ZL1. The GT350 cannot compare in any way.

I have troubles buying moded stuff since it has backfired in the past so I tend to stick with stock unless I do it myself and then I make it such that it can be reversed if needed. I know it is a very vague question but I would appreciate any input.

Thanks
They are amazing machines. Just curious. What cosmetic mods would it need? It already has so many stock.

Yeah that was a solid deal. Added to some other discounts on mine I just couldn't pass it up ha

It had a bunch of engine bay dress up stuff on it, painted covers and such, some stuff on the interior as well.

Non of that bothered me as it could all be undone, just worried about engine stuff, owner says there is over $89k in the car.

Just talked with them today, advertised price on cars.com was great $63k I think, by the time I get an actually quite worked up out the door it is $73.5, almost back to sticker. Not cool including 2k in dealer installed options like tinted windows, and nitrogen filled tired. Again I will keep looking.

I'm always surprised when people try to sell with mods on, especially easily removable mods. Is it laziness?

Smart buyers will not pay as much for a modded car, for obvious reasons. You get more money removing headers and TB and selling those, then selling the car un-modded. And people wont give you any added value for the mods on the car. Also, buyers lose out on the missing OEM parts if they want to restore to stock.
Says he was moving on to a C8 and I guess did not want to make the effort, seemed like a good o'le boy. I agree on the price but did not get the idea he was willing to negotiate.

It is about to.5 hours away in the middle of nowhere, do not know who I would ask to check it out.

He said he had all the original parts but did not know why anyone would want them, just makes me nervous, I and still watching it but would not call back unless there was a big price drop.

Well if you find one at Stingray Chevy or Ferman Chevy let me know. I know some guys at both. Ferman contact owns and tracks an SS 1LE as well.
