I believe it went both ways. When I had this no one really paid much attention to it until more and more started reporting in. I listed a few of the threads here for reference. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=500793 |

It is likely the rear cradle swinging side to side as the factory bushings have a ton of slop in them. yesterday at Mir my car wasn't exactly perfect with the cradle lockout installed but I could make it go down the track straight with corrections. There was also in nasty 15mph crosswind compounding the straight line stability. My 5th gen ZL1 never had any of those rear sway instability issues.

I haven't foudn the Camaro 1LE to be that bad in the rear, my Mustang was very bad with slop in the bushings and wheel hop it was pretty dangerous and almost spun it out more than a few times. I had to put in about a Grand worth of Steeda parts under the rear to get it under control.
So we're using the BMR lockout for this on the Camaro??? |

Ran at Beech Bend the other way, and she was going side to side pretty good. Obviously some wheel spin due to the cold track temps, but it was a bit sketchy. The whole BMR rear kit is on my Christmas list this year.

4 Wheel Alignment?
For those of you who say you fixed this with a 4-wheel alignment:
Did you have the dealer perform it? Or did you go to NTB or some tire shop?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but did anyone figure this out?
I just got my car an 18 ZL1 1LE with a Magnuson Heartbeat blower upgrade, but still well under 700 whp. I've driven it a couple times and this feeling is very unwelcome. So far I love the car other then this issue. I was very surprised passing at 80 when I rolled into it about 50% throttle and changed lanes. Changing lanes while passing on the highway is by far the worst and it's even happened while the car's in 6th gear, so it def def not wheel spin. But it's bad enough to have to counter steer through and I let off. It gives the sensation that the rear toe is changing under load, but like others said it's strange because it's not consistent. I had already chalked it up to the E-diff and looks like others have suspected that as well. I'm going to get alignment specs checked but this car was supposedly aligned by a race shop prior to buying it. Car is on MPSC2 tires in stock Zl1 1LE sizes |

This is the only BMR part I DON'T have, but it might be the one to put a nail in the coffin of the problem.

You got to have same or close to the same air pressure in all tires, Low air pressure will make it sway. I don't have that problem all tires are equal. Soft compound in the back will also do that.

This must be an edif issue. I've got ZL1 takeoff wheels and tires and a good bit more than stock ZL1 power. I have the ZLE solid cradle bushings but did not have this issue with the original parts

Mine does the same thing and I have Eibach springs, make sure your in track mode and it's less noticable. I'm also going to install the oem zl1-1le craddle lock out bushings very soon. I'll report back with the results.
